Install the package
Open the install link below while logged in to your Salesforce org, choose Install for Admins Only or Install for All Users, and confirm. Use the sandbox link to test first.
Assign the permission set
In Setup, open Permission Sets → ClearBounce User and assign it to everyone who should verify emails. It grants access to the verification fields and the components.
Add your ClearBounce API key
In Setup, go to Named Credentials → External Credentials → ClearBounce Auth, edit the ClearBouncePrincipal principal and paste your API key into the ApiKey parameter. Create the key in your ClearBounce dashboard under API Keys. The key is stored encrypted by Salesforce and never leaves your org except in calls to ClearBounce.
Place the component on record pages
Open a Lead or Contact record, choose Edit Page, drag the clearBounceVerify custom component onto the layout, then save and activate. The card shows the last result and a Verify Email button.
Optional: bulk verify from list views
In Object Manager, add the Verify Emails (ClearBounce) button to the Lead and Contact list view layouts to verify unverified records in bulk.
