Partner Program Terms & Conditions

These Partner Program Terms and Conditions ("Partner Terms") govern your participation in the ClearBounce Partner Program ("Program"). By applying to or participating in the Program, you agree to be bound by these Partner Terms in addition to the ClearBounce Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Program Overview

The ClearBounce Partner Program allows approved participants ("Partners") to earn commissions by referring new customers to ClearBounce's email verification services. Partners receive a unique referral link and earn a percentage of revenue generated by their referred customers.

2. Eligibility & Application

• You must have a valid ClearBounce account to apply for the Partner Program.
• Applications are reviewed by our team and approval is at ClearBounce's sole discretion.
• We typically review applications within 24-48 hours.
• ClearBounce reserves the right to reject any application without providing a reason.
• You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
• Businesses and individuals are both eligible to apply.

3. Referral Tracking

• Each Partner receives a unique referral link containing their referral code.
• When a visitor clicks your referral link, a tracking cookie is stored in their browser for 30 days.
• If the visitor creates a ClearBounce account within the 30-day cookie window, they are permanently attributed to you as the referring Partner.
• Attribution is based on a last-click model — if a user clicks multiple referral links, the most recent one within the cookie window takes precedence.
• Self-referrals are strictly prohibited. You may not use your own referral link to create accounts for yourself or receive commissions on your own purchases.

4. Commissions

4.1 Commission Rate

Partners earn a 20% recurring commission on every payment made by their referred customers. This includes credit purchases, subscription payments, and any other paid services. The commission rate is applied to the net payment amount (excluding taxes and payment processing fees where applicable).

4.2 Commission Hold Period

All commissions are subject to a 30-day hold period from the date of the original payment. This hold period protects against refunds, chargebacks, and fraudulent transactions. After the hold period, commissions move from "pending" to "approved" status.

4.3 Commission Adjustments

• If a referred customer requests and receives a refund, the corresponding commission will be rejected and removed from your balance.
• If a chargeback occurs on a referred customer's payment, the corresponding commission will be rejected.
• ClearBounce reserves the right to adjust commission rates with 30 days' prior notice to Partners.

5. Payouts

5.1 Minimum Payout

The minimum payout threshold is $50 USD. Your approved commission balance must reach this minimum before a payout can be processed.

5.2 Payment Method

All payouts are processed via Wise (formerly TransferWise). You must provide a valid Wise email address associated with your Wise account. ClearBounce is not responsible for delays or issues caused by incorrect payment details provided by the Partner.

5.3 Payment Schedule

Payouts are processed on a monthly basis. Once your approved balance meets the minimum threshold, a payout will be initiated during the next processing cycle. Processing typically takes 3-5 business days after initiation.

5.4 Currency

All commissions are calculated and paid in USD. Currency conversion fees, if applicable, are the responsibility of the Partner.

6. Partner Obligations

As a Partner, you agree to:

• Promote honestly: All marketing materials, reviews, and promotions must be truthful and not misleading about ClearBounce's services, features, or pricing.
• Comply with laws: Follow all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to FTC disclosure requirements, GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and any local advertising regulations.
• Disclose your relationship: Clearly disclose your affiliate/partner relationship with ClearBounce when promoting our services, as required by FTC guidelines and similar regulations in your jurisdiction.
• Use approved methods: Only use ethical and legitimate marketing practices to promote ClearBounce.

7. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination from the Program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions:

• Spam: Sending unsolicited bulk emails, messages, or any form of spam to promote your referral link.
• Brand bidding: Bidding on ClearBounce brand terms (including "ClearBounce", "clearbounce.net", or misspellings thereof) in paid search advertising (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.).
• Trademark misuse: Using ClearBounce's name, logo, or trademarks in a way that implies official endorsement or partnership beyond the scope of the Partner Program.
• Cookie stuffing: Using hidden iframes, pop-ups, or any technique to set referral cookies without the user's knowledge or genuine click.
• Self-referrals: Creating accounts using your own referral link or referring accounts you control.
• Fake or incentivized signups: Offering monetary incentives, discounts, or gifts to users solely for signing up through your link.
• Misleading content: Creating fake reviews, false comparisons, or misleading claims about ClearBounce or competitor products.
• Malware or adware: Distributing software that redirects users or injects referral cookies.

8. Intellectual Property

ClearBounce grants Partners a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use ClearBounce's name and logo solely for the purpose of promoting ClearBounce as part of the Partner Program. This license is revocable at any time. Partners may not modify ClearBounce's logos or create derivative works without prior written consent.

9. Termination

• By Partner: You may leave the Partner Program at any time by contacting us at support@clearbounce.net. Any approved, unpaid commissions above the minimum threshold will be paid out within 30 days of termination.
• By ClearBounce: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your participation in the Program at any time, with or without cause. In cases of fraud or violation of these terms, we may withhold unpaid commissions.
• Program termination: ClearBounce may discontinue the Partner Program at any time with 30 days' notice to active Partners. All approved, unpaid commissions will be paid out upon program termination.

10. Limitation of Liability

ClearBounce's total liability to any Partner under these Partner Terms shall not exceed the total commissions paid to that Partner in the 12 months preceding the claim. ClearBounce shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in the Program.

11. Modifications

ClearBounce reserves the right to modify these Partner Terms at any time. We will notify active Partners of material changes via email at least 14 days before such changes take effect. Continued participation in the Program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Relationship of Parties

Partners are independent contractors. Nothing in these Partner Terms creates an employment, agency, joint venture, or partnership relationship between ClearBounce and any Partner. Partners are solely responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and compliance with applicable laws.
